Diet Friendly Apple Almond Cake

You gonna try this cake! It’s delicious, easy to make, low carb, low sugar, low calories.

The ingredients below are for a 7inch backing pan.

Apple: I used 5 gala apples, peeled and sliced.

Flour: 1cup Almond flour, 1/4 cup cake flour, 1.5tsp baking powder, 1pinch salt

Eggs: 3 eggs + 2 ~3 tbsp sugar, room temperature or hot water bath (easy to beat at about 100f), hand mixer beat middle speed ~3 minutes until it gets to a texture of fluffy and thick (still fluid).

Oven preheat to 350F.

Mix: add 1.5tsb vanilla, 2 oz butter (melted), 45 ml warm milk, and fold in the flour.

Put together:

  • 7 inch baking pan (I used a springform cake pan for easy out), place baking paper at the bottom and side.
  • add a thin layer of batter, a thine layer of apple
  • repeat for 4 ~ 5 layers or till full / run out of batter
  • sprinkle some almond slices and cinnamon powder on the top

Bake: 350F,60 minutes

Let it completely cool, then take out of the cake pan. Enjoy 🥂
